The short version: we use analytics to understand how visitors engage with this site, we keep the emails and texts you send us, and we don’t sell or advertise with your data.

What we collect
When you visit backv.co, we collect standard usage information: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (city/region derived from IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. If you email us, we keep the correspondence, including your name and email address. If you text us, we collect your mobile phone number, the messages you send and receive, and your SMS opt-in and consent status.
How we collect it
We use analytics and measurement tools — currently Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, though the specific tools may change over time — which set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser to measure engagement across visits. Each provider’s handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy. If you text us, we collect that conversation directly.
Why we collect it
To understand which content is useful, improve the site, and respond when you contact us by email or text. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use this data for third-party advertising.
SMS / text messaging
We use two-way text messaging to communicate with you. We will not sell or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent status with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties other than those needed to deliver the messages (carriers). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Who we share it with
Analytics data is processed by our analytics providers on our behalf. For SMS, we share your number and message content only with carriers as needed to deliver the messages. We do not share your information with anyone else except as required by law.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies — declining keeps measurement off. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site works fully without cookies; only our measurement is affected.
Retention
Analytics data is retained per our providers’ settings and then deleted or aggregated. Email and SMS correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and our business records.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email info@backv.co and we will handle the request directly. For SMS, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted here.
